THE VERB CHURCH EXISTS TO
FOLLOW JESUS THROUGH WORSHIP,
COMMUNITY, AND SERVICE.

We want to be active followers of Jesus; not passive admirers. To us, following Jesus means two things. First, we want to pursue Jesus in our daily lives as we learn to trust Him in all things. Second, we want to participate in Christ’s ongoing work to make all things new in Little Elm and beyond.

We accomplish this mission in three ways.

Worship is a life lived in total surrender to God. Therefore, worship is expressed in a variety of ways in our day to day living; not just on Sunday mornings. We gather each Sunday in order to corporately express our life of worship and to realign our hearts around Christ for the week ahead.

Life isn’t meant to be lived alone. We were made for relationship with our God and with one another. In community, we find safety, accountability, and support. Action Groups are designed to cultivate gospel-centered relationships as we meet together and serve our city with the love of Jesus.

Serving others is the natural overflow of the gospel. When we understand how much we’ve been given, we will gratefully seek opportunities to give. The Action Team is a great place to use your God-given talents and passions to think of others as greater than yourself. Discover your purpose here!
